General Terms

1.1. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all offers, promotions, and services provided by Allwood Carpentry & Construction (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”).

1.2. By engaging with our advertisements, landing pages, website, or services, you agree to these Terms.

1.3. We reserve the right to modify or terminate any promotion, offer, or service at our discretion without prior notice.

Offer & Promotion Terms

2.1. All special offers and promotions advertised on Meta (Facebook & Instagram) or any other platform are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any timewithout notice.

2.2. Offers are applicable only to residential properties within our service areas (as specified on our website or by direct confirmation).

2.3. Offers cannot be combined with any other discounts, promotions, or previously agreed quotes unless explicitly stated.

2.4. Final pricing is subject to an on-site inspection, and any quotes provided online, through advertisements, or via phone/email are indicative estimates only.

Site Inspection & Final Quotation

3.1. All offers and advertised prices are based on standard installation conditions and are subject to an on-site inspection to determine the actual scope of work, material requirements, and final cost.

3.2. Additional charges may apply for:

• Site-specific complexities (e.g., sloped terrain, access issues, soil conditions).

• Custom design requests, additional materials, or structural modifications.

• Changes made by the customer after the initial quote has been accepted.

3.3. If the customer declines to proceed after the inspection due to pricing adjustments, no obligation to purchase applies. However, any consultation or design work fees incurred will be charged if applicable.

Booking, Deposits & Payment

4.1. All bookings require a minimum deposit to secure materials and labor. Deposit amounts will be outlined in the final quotation.

4.2. Deposits are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

4.3. Payment terms will be specified in the final contract, and full payment is required upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed.

4.4. Late payments may incur penalties, including interest charges and legal recovery costs.

Exclusions & Limitations

5.1. Offers do not include:

• Council permits, approvals, or planning permissions unless explicitly stated.

• Electrical work, plumbing, or additional landscaping unless specified in the quote.

• Any unforeseen work or additional requests made after the initial quote.

5.2. Allwood Carpentry & Construction is not liable for delays caused by third parties, weather conditions, material shortages, or force majeure events.

Warranty & Liability

6.1. We provide a warranty on workmanship in accordance with Australian standards and manufacturer warranties for materials used. Warranty terms will be outlined in the final contract.

6.2. The customer is responsible for maintaining the installed structure according to care guidelines provided. Warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, neglect, natural disasters, or unauthorized modifications.

6.3. Liability is limited to the value of the contract signed. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.

Consumer Rights & Dispute Resolution

7.1. These Terms do not override any rights provided under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

7.2. If a dispute arises, we encourage an amicable resolution before escalating to legal action. Mediation or third-party dispute resolution may be recommended before pursuing litigation.
